We require a deposit that is community specific to reserve a lot. The deposit will apply towards your contract deposit when it is time for the contract. That depends! We strive to keep it within a couple of months but could take a little longer depending on the completion of the development and the approval from the City to start the construction phase.
You will be notified by your Realtor to select your plan and this is when pricing is set for your new house. The contract requires a deposit dependent on community and lot which will be credited back to you and will apply towards your purchase at the completion and closing of your new home. On average, it can take anywhere from 4-6 months from contract to completion depending on your plan. However, that all depends on product availability and any unforeseen delays.
At the contract stage- we have a preferred lender, and you will need to start the process of securing a loan just as soon as you have a contract to purchase your home.
Yes! Riverwood Homes has an on-staff designer that you will get to meet with after contract at our Design Studio to select all of your options.
