Hi friends! We are so excited to announce that we are starting a blog! We wanted to begin by explaining who we are and what we do as a company.

Who we are

At Riverwood Homes, we believe in providing the best quality home at the most affordable price. Riverwood was founded in 2010 by Mark Marquess who has more than 30 years of building and real estate experience. As a generational family-run company that operates under the motto “built by family for family”, Riverwood works daily to provide the very best for our customers. We strive to be the best for our customers and to treat each one with respect and integrity, operating under four key values that are the foundation for everything we do and every decision made.

As the company has grown with three generations of the Marquess family working together daily, Riverwood has managed to maintain our small business roots and allowed us to stay committed to helping families achieve the joy of homeownership.

What we do

Riverwood is fortunate to have a group of loyal and dedicated employees and subcontractors with many of the companies working with us for more than 25 years. This dedication to providing quality stylish homes and outstanding customer service has enabled Riverwood to expand from being the leading homebuilder in Fayetteville to one of the largest private homebuilders in the Northwest Arkansas area. 

With our incredible employees and subcontractors, we have streamlined the building process to make it as easy as possible from start to finish. Our customers begin by selecting their desired community and floor plan. After, they will visit our design studio to personalize all of the selections for their home. Once their design is finalized, the building process will begin with an average 4-6 months of construction time.
